Wow - It's the first word, I thought of when I saw it's picture. If you think only bikes look good, when they show their parts, then see this watch...

Brainchild of Vianney Halter and the engineering masterpiece of the DMC Group's Jean-François Ruchonnet.
With 1,352 components working together in masterful horological precision [you can see how the parts are working within the watch], driven by a 450 link chain and nickel silver drums. At a price tag of $275,000 to afford the base model, you can add some more to get it slathered in platinum and diamonds at $400,000. Or may be you would like to go for a Merc Benz or a Ferrari.

There are a number of skins available (made of gold and other precious metals) other than the one displayed in the images.

So finally, if are hesitating to buy it like me, then just visit their homepage [Cabestan] to see a lot of information regarding the watch and the parts individually.

TVS is planning to launch new upgraded version of it's popular bike Apache RTR, with a powerful engine of 180cc as compared to present 160cc engine. The variant called as Apache Menace, is expected to release somewhere in the first half of year 2009. By increasing the engine strength, this will enter the competition against Pulsar 200cc and Yamaha FZ 16, as the expected price is around Rs.78,000 - 80,000.
According to TeamBHP, the bike will retain the basic lines of the current RTR, retaining the basic look of the current Apache. But with no front scoop this time. While collecting some logo pictures, I noticed a striking similarity between the logos of Volkswagen and Bajaj. It looks certainly something more than a coincidence. After designing the logo, the designers at Bajaj couldn't have missed it's similarity with one of the world leading Auto makers - Volkswagen, or has it been done intentionally ?
Just see the images below:

Here's the normal logo of Volkswagen
Now rotate it by 90°, in counter-clock direction.
Now, just have a look on Bajaj logo
So... any comments ?

According to Reuters, Bajaj said it would launch a new motorcycle every month from January to attract buyers.

Bajaj said motorcycle and scooter sales dropped 37 percent in November. All vehicles, including three-wheeled motorised rickshaws that rose 13 percent, were down 32 percent. And Bajaj is expecting the fall in sales for December too, as dealers have already piled up their inventories which need to be sold off first. And due to this slowdown Bajaj has lost it's second position to Honda (at least for the month of November, 2008) [From Vicky.in]

To beat the slowdown, group firm Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd is offering a retail finance scheme to buy Bajaj's vehicles at an interest rate of just under 8 percent, Bajaj Auto Ltd said in a statement.

World's Fastest Car - SSC Ultimate Aero TT - New 2009 Model

Beating the previous Fastest car - Bugatti Veyron, here's the present fastest car on Earth, which says "Life begins at 250...(mph)".

The ultimate Aero has Twin-Turbo V8 Engine with 1183 hp, as compared to Narrow Angle-Aluminum W16 Engine with 1001 hp that of Bugatti Veyron. Surprisingly Aero has been priced at $6,54,400 as against the costly Veyron at $1,444,000.

The speed of SSC Aero has been recorded as 256.19 mph, by Guinness World Records on 13th September, 2007. Whereas that of Bugatti Veyron is 253+ mph. But the 0-60 is done by Veyron in 2.5 secs, which is slightly faster than SSC Aero which is at 2.7 seconds.

SSC Aero 2009
Now, the Shelby SuperCars' Ultimate Aero is receiving several refinements for the 2009 model year. The SSC engineering team equipped the 2009 Ultimate Aero with a 15% increase in horsepower, a revamped front fascia design, and an array of important interior upgrades. The most substantial change is an SSC-designed, 1-piece billet aluminum engine block. A milestone for the limited-production automobile manufacturer, the new block improves structural integrity and oiling capabilities allowing SSC to boost the power output to 1287 horsepower while improving durability.

The new 2009 model is expected to reach 270 mph !

The aggressive nose is redesigned with enhanced aerodynamics to accommodate the 2009 Ultimate Aero's higher top speed, and carbon fiber louvers on the side intakes draw in an additional 20% of air into the radiators for improved cooling. The improvement in overall performance will widen the already sizeable gap between the Ultimate Aero and its competitors. The '09 Ultimate Aero also introduces the AeroBrakeTM a rear spoiler system that deploys under braking situations.
