Along with Suzuki's superbike Hayabusa 1300, it has launched an even advanced cruiser bike Intruder M1800R. With a much powerful engine and displacement of 1800cc, this bike will be quite heavy on our soft Indian roads.
Intruder with race proven braking technology has the widest rear-tyre (see the click-able wallpaper below), and one of the biggest pistons... Performance wise the M1800R is the ultimate production cruiser.

With Delhi's pollution levels crossing those of pre-CNG days, this car may help a little in controlling it.
Emission from the A-Star not only complies with the Euro 3 (Bharat-3) norms that are operational in 13 Indian cities, including Delhi, but also geared to meet stringent emission norms that will be implemented across Europe in the coming years. The A-Stars CO2 emission will be even lower than 109 gm/km which we had envisaged earlier.

India's Euro 3 norms is 5 years behind those currently enforced in Europe, while Euro 4 norms that are enforced outside the 13 Indian cities are 10 years behind European benchmarks.

India Is Voting - You Vote To NoBody

By Divya Sai on 11/15/2008

It is Over in United States, But yet to start in India

People say "you vote you win" and "it is better to vote than to complain", in all your school life you would have studied that:
"Good Citizens - do vote
Bad citizens - do no vote"
If you are a biker and want good roads for biking, then do vote.
But we have seen our country in the hands of Congress and also in the hands of BJP, or whatsoever.... do you really think voting does really work?

So if you think that there's nobody eligible to get your valuable vote, and you consider yourself as a "good citizen", who does always vote, then as usual go to the voting booth this time too, but give your vote to NOBODY.

Section 49-O of the Constitution

Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone!

Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called "49-O".

Why should you go and say "I VOTE NOBODY"... because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received "49-O" votes more than 123, then that polling will be canceled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system... it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public....

Please spread this news to as many as you know...Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India... show your power, expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting... so don't miss your chance. So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this info on...

Its the official site of Law Ministry. But i cant find any mention of cancellation of candidature, if 49-O is more than winning margin of vote cast. if u read it...

(Let the page load completely then find (CTRL+F) this on the page - 49-o)

"Please forward this article to as many as possible, so that we, the people of India , can really use this power to save our nation". Use your voting right for a better INDIA .

Chandrayaan 1 - Destination Moon - Mission Accomplished

It's not bikes this time.
Now India is in the 5 elite countries list, to have it's flag [Moon Impact Probe (MIP)] on Moon.
Chandrayaan today reached the final resting orbit, about 100 kms from the moon. The timing of this proud moment had been specially designed to coincide with Children's Day.Chandrayaan will remain in this orbit for the next two years.
The device inbuilt with three instruments: radar altimeter, video imaging system and mass spectrometer, ISRO has carried out three orbit-lowering moves since the spacecraft entered the lunar orbit on Saturday. The spacecraft, which was launched on October 22, was propelled on its 3,86,000km voyage to the moon in a number of stages, with its orbit being raised progressively towards the moon by activating its liquid motor.
The idea behind flying the tricolour on the moon was of former president and legend space scientist A P J Abdul Kalam, who had suggested the ISRO scientists in an International Lunar Exploration Working Group conference held at Udaipur in November 2004.
The MIP will send the still and digital video graphic pictures to the ISRO scientists that will be used for analysing the surface of the Moon, only natural satellite of our Earth. “The unmanned Chandrayaan-1 spacecraft will map the moon to get an idea about the minerals present there, which is of prime importance,” said ISRO official.
Wait for the pictures to come soon direct from Chandrayaan 1....
