tvs-apache rtr 160cc :
positives:- most powerful plus best athlete in its segment ...only single 150 cc segment bike(160 cc) dat was allowed to race with karizma & pulsar 220cc to find out which is d best indian bike.......... by popular overdrive magazine(u can check you tube for cnbc overdrive videos, although it lost by close margin, but it is a privilege to compete wid d ones having 60 -65 cc more power). top speed 118 km/hour…… beats pulsar 180cc easily. it’s very quick, remained the best bike in its segment till last year(for 3-4 years) unless fz-16 was launched…..
negatives:- only fz- series clearly beats it in popularity, fresh style, attention grabbed(this is always for initial years & once karizma, pulsar, cbz, apache also had that, but wid time it fades & new innovative players get it), also FZs rear looks(wide tyres),in street handling & under 60 km /hour ) are better but in highway fz stands no chance & apache is still d best in its segment .
so real negatives are tyres which are improved but not d best, after sale services, brand(tvs not treated as hero honda,Yamaha & Bajaj),
dose who believe in naam main kya rakha hai…….apache is dere & dose who believe naam is everything(& keeps on changing it to improve results) apache is a no-no………
also seating position is sporty (it is gd for some while bad for others, depends upon what u prefer comfort or style, its similar to preferring denim jeans or formal trousers)
hero honda-cbz extreme:-positives:-brand name ,after sale service.........,gd power & handling,rear looks one of d best after fz-series
wanna buy a bike???????
dis is d latest info about d hot bikes...............
FZ-series:-FZ-16 & FZ-S d bikes wid d highest demand right now...........cost 65000 & 67000 respectively........best in attracting attention,design,looks,handling in streets,branding
cbz-xtreme new (off the edge)....one of d best handling n after sale services.best hero honda bike ,better dan hunk which is less powerfull & more heavy, karizma is no more a distinct bike.......
bajaj:--------right now new versions of all pulsars available........but best buy wud be d pulsar 220 cc dtsi(not fi)cost -70000 & top speed 140 km/hour(d fastest indian bike) launching 0n 23rd june 2009
karizma,yamaha fz-series & tvs apche 160 rtr & 180 menace in deep-2 trouble.as d price is of 150,160 180 cc but it is actually a 220 cc. bajaaj is back i n d fight
TVS three options:- apche rtr 160,rtr 160 fi & 180 cc menace........menace is of 75000 plus ,better dan pulsar 180 & equals pulsar 200 cc but stands no chance against new pulsar 220 cc which has less price dan menace......
rtr fi has service problems as yamaha r-15 & pulsar x-220cc had.not available evrywhere as computer settings needed. so rtr is better buy by price n performance.....
conclusions .............so best buys are:-
pulsar 220 cc:-plus points:-price only 70000,top speed 140 km /hour,its dtsi not fi so no more service problem,d latest bike & d most fresh one...looks big.....
negatives:-as not launched so not known
fz-series:-fz-16 & fz-s both r same except colors & graphics & price.dese r in most demand these days.........grab attention d most,good handling in lower speeds like in streets & traffic. under 60 km d best bike,only 126 kg
negatives:-pillion space is less, not a family bike, after 70-80 km/hour speed lacks power, tubeless tyres so puncture cost more,& no kick start.....
Thanks Sahil for the guidance.
to da above kids...
look kids, u aint gettin da pts properly...
first of all, bajaj wont have ne stand in da nxt 3 yrs.. as it'l be obsolute watever dey try.
nd da questn remains bot da apache 160?
dis bike's got power b looks, bt have u thot beyond it? ive been usin it for da past 15 months as my 4th bike n am pretty disappointed, every month i xperience deteioration in its engine block, clutch management nd fuel injection... ma say,/////
apache 160 rtr 4/10
Pulsar 150 4/10
pulsa 200 n 220 FUCK OFF , dey deserve no rating
CBZ 150 xtreme 7/10 (coz dis bike is damn reliable nd shows no problems)
FZ ... 0.5/10
unicorn 6/10
R15 again deserve's no rating...

cbz x-tream is one of the best bike in india.cbz is more powerfull bike then comperign of other bike.cbz give supurb milage
if u thinking about to buy a bike then cbz x-tream is best choice nor comperign
1 can trust honda engines, n hero honda is doing well with those, from past 25 years, still same 1st introduced engine is reving in all its updated 100cc commuters....thats really good news for buyers u dont have to worry about engine parts availablity... and its doing better in 150cc segment having same honda engine for all HH bikes in 150cc segment.. coz that engine is well acclaimed in reliablity, durablity, service, performance, economy, emissions, i support that engine and the stratergy is good for manufacturer ,aswell as the customers... with hero honda u always keep going miles with smiles...
Hi guys, i have yamaha fz-s for 5 months. I have ridden cbz xtreme(the 2008 variant), apache160 fi of my friends.
And i think
fuel comsumption-cbz xyamaha>cbz x
Handling-cbz=yamaha>apache
Power-apache>yamaha=cbz x
comfort-cbz x>yamaha>apache
Top speed-yamaha(129km/h),apache(127km/h very vibration), cbz x(125km/h stable).
I think if you want pp(pickup, power) then you should go with apache(but watch out for vibration). It can achive 130+kmph but not stable. As for fuel i think yamaha is bad for its torque higher than other two at low rpm and that board rear tyre it sucks power(though it has greater bore and stroke). But that tyre gives amazing handling at higher speed. That extra torque gives good pickup at 0-60km/h. After 60 its same as cbz x.
So pickup, gr8 power, topspeed, vibration. Apache(O H! I forgot to mention that its engine problem after 20000km) lets race!
Comfort, handling, medium milege, low maintance cost, go cbz x!
Mind blowing style, greater handling, medium pickup, low milege, overall power yes yamaha!
get lost CBZ xtreme is the best
